Grohs Aviation, was founded in 1988 by Bill Grohs, an insurance broker with experience on both the underwriter and broker sides of the aviation insurance industry. Bill prided himself with trustworthy, reliable, dependable, and knowledgeable service through the individualized attention he gave his clients.
Prior to his passing in March 2020, Bill Grohs personally selected the executive team of Schrager Hampson Aviation Insurance Agency to be the acquirer of his business. The aviation insurance trio of David B. Hampson, David G. Hampson, and Dan Schrager subsequently partnered together to carry on Bill’s business legacy of individualized client centric service with a personal touch. They aim to preserve the agency’s service reputation and boutique nature, while expanding upon the risk management solutions and product offerings to new and existing clients.
